Child Cancer Smart Campaign
CCLG have launched an evidence based public and professional awareness campaign to improve early diagnosis of cancer in children and teenagers. It can be really hard to spot cancer in children. Many of the most common cancer symptoms are the same as symptoms of everyday illnesses. Click on the logo to read all about the campaign for families and professionals. Early diagnosis can save lives learn to spot the signs.

TYA Right Decision Toolkit
The app has been developed in collaboration between the MSN CYPC and the Right Decision Service from Healthcare Improvement Scotland. The TYA Right Decision Toolkit is now live. This web and mobile toolkit provides access to age appropriate information and resources for young people with cancer across Scotland, their families, friends and carers – from signposting to services and support.

Keeping children safe in Scotland
The Scottish Government launched a new online information resource for children, young people and parents and carers, to provide age-appropriate information about child protection processes.
They will be helpful for families who may become involved in child protection processes and practitioners should help families, including young children access these. The online resource called ‘Keeping children safe in Scotland’, is available at the following link where downloadable versions are also available for use offline.
